Supermodel........Supersurgery
I just read an article which I posted a link to about 90’s supermodels then and now. I don’t understand why Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford plus a slew of other models got all sorts of plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures??? Not only do they look different, (particularly Cindy Crawford) but in a way I think they betrayed their younger selves. I’ve read many interviews from these supermodels from early on in their careers and they never really gloated about how beautiful they were and strongly denied being vain or big headed. They also made comments while they were modeling about how every ‘woman is beautiful and aging does not concern them’. It seems that now that they’re middle aged women they cannot cope with their dimming spotlight. The only model who has spoken out about cosmetic procedures is Christy Turlington.
